Justin Gall is an American designer and committed experimentalist who left the United States in 2013 and eventually launched his namesake label in Rome, Italy. It’s here where he’s been tirelessly creating, consistently challenging the tightly-knit fashion system and its household Goliaths within a foreign landscape, while maintaining his independence.

In 2022, after years of working outside the mainstream, Gall achieved a significant milestone by becoming the first independent American designer to be invited and showcase a runway show on the official Milan Fashion Week calendar. Here he unveiled his inaugural signature collection, entitled 'MURK' to his first international audience – click here to watch the show.

Gall's abilities and vision stem from a background studying Anatomy and Physiology, which he integrates with technical compositions and innate artistic expressions. This fusion reflects his intrinsic attraction to turmoil and the eventual, a mindset he embraced early in life due to the unpredictable nature of his childhood.

By the age of 18, Gall had resided in 11 different homes within rural California, frequently moving with his mother. This pervasive sense of displacement continues to inspire his works today, characterized by a blend of dystopian and futuristic elements, manifesting through imaginative exploration and an internal dialogue regarding the human condition, all underscored by an inherent nomadic instinct.

Today, he immerses himself in his laboratory in Rome, where he brings forth collections that unify experimental and manipulated materials, handcrafted paint finishes, unique dyeing techniques, and innovative designs. His work consistently illuminates the fragilities and hardships we all face in life, hopefully transforming these challenges into sources of strength rather than futility, both within the present and future thereafter.
